1. Information We Collect

When you use Gradeon AI, we collect the following information:

• Account data: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Card images: Photos you capture or upload for grading. These are stored securely in encrypted cloud storage.
• Grading data: AI-generated grades, defect analysis, and card identification results.
• Usage data: App interactions, scan counts, and feature usage to improve our service.
• Device info: Device type, OS version, and app version for compatibility and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered card grading services.
• To maintain your card collection and grading history.
• To improve our AI models and grading accuracy.
• To communicate service updates and important notifications.
• To process purchases and manage subscriptions.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure (hosted on AWS) with encryption at rest and in transit. Card images are stored in private storage buckets accessible only to you and our grading service. We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure data isolation between users.

4. AI Processing

Card images are sent to Google Gemini AI for grading analysis. Images are processed in real-time and are not retained by the AI provider after processing. Our computer vision service (OpenCV) processes images for centering analysis and card detection.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Google Cloud: For AI grading (Gemini) and computer vision processing.
• Supabase: Our backend infrastructure provider.
• Payment processors: Apple App Store and Google Play for in-app purchases.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access and export all your data (Settings > Export My Data).
• Delete your account and all associated data (Settings > Delete Account).
• Update or correct your personal information at any time.
• Opt out of non-essential communications.

7. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data, card images, and grading results are permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained.

8. Children's Privacy

Gradeon AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
